Dr. Cowan has been a Senior Associate since 2007 with Wayne Minnick and Associates, LLC. As such he utilizes his medical and FAA qualifications to support clients.
Dr. Cowan has been an aviation medical examiner since 2001. He is FAA qualified to perform aviation medical examinations for all civil aviation pilots. He performs first class medical exams for commercial airline pilots, and he maintains a full medical practice in Orlando, Florida.
Dr. Cowan is a currently qualified commercial, multi-engine, instrument pilot. He regularly flies a turbo-charged Piper Aztec for business and pleasure. He has logged over 1200 hours as pilot in command.
From 1999 to present, Dr. Cowan has been a Shareholder/Member/President of Primary Care Specialists, LLC, a private medical practice in Orlando. He specializes in internal medicine, and he is board certified in Florida and North Carolina. He also is board certified in pediatrics.
Previously for a five year period, Dr. Cowan was President and CEO of a large private medical practice group. Prior to that he was in private practice since 1984.
