MARKET ASSESSMENT FOR
BUSINESS PLAN DEVELOPMENT
CONCERNING TRAINING AND
MODELING DEVICES
This project was a study conducted by WMA on behalf of a major U.S.
corporation for the purpose of preparing a Business Plan for the corporation's
expansion in the ATC/Airspace training and modeling areas. A key objective
of the study was to determine how an existing product could be modified to
develop a new, separate Airspace and Procedures Modeling product (or
products). Specifically, WMA identified and assessed the potential value of the
world-wide market for such products, the growth potential, competitor
strength and quantity, competitor's market share and sales level, and client
profit potential. Further, we provided a technical approach for developing the
functional specifications for such products in minimum time and at a low cost.
