FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR AIRPORT
MASTER PLANNING IN POLAND
This project was conducted by WMA for an American corporation, and it
explored the feasibility of establishing an office in Warsaw to focus on
conducting Airport Master Planning for the various regional and international
airports in Poland. At the request of the Rzeszow Airport Development
Foundation, trips were made to southeastern Poland for meetings with the
Wicewojewoda, members of Parliament, and other officials interested in
developing the Rzeszow Regional Airport. Other trips were made to Krakow
and Lodz for meetings and discussions with local officials. The study
determined the costs of setting-up an office, identified several sources of office
and housing space, and assessed the business forecasts for the venture.
