PRE-BUSINESS PLAN STUDY OF
ESTABLISHING A SPECIALIZED
TRAINING CENTER IN WARSAW
In this project, WMA conducted a comprehensive study of the feasibility of
establishing a specialized training center in Warsaw, Poland, by a major U.S.
corporation. The study included an assessment of the current and future
market for the training center and the prospects of expanding the operation in
Poland and to other countries in the region. WMA developed an operational
concept for the training center which included a technical and financial
approach. We conducted a financial break-even analysis and cash flow
forecast, and we explained how the client could leverage current products and
capabilities to minimize the start-up costs. We identified several sources of
capital for financing the start-up and assessed the risk, and we obtained the
latest tax and license information concerning the conduct of business in Poland
by non-Polish companies. Lastly, we identified several prospective Polish
companies that would be good candidates for a "joint venture" operation.
